Légère Reeds produces premium synthetic
Clarinet and Saxophone reeds. They are used by players in the world's most
prestigious orchestras, including both the Berlin and Vienna Philharmonic
Orchestras, as well as top session pros in New York and Los Angeles. They
produce a big, rich sound, but have all the advantages of a synthetic, instant
response, consistant, reliable, tough and long lasting.
Légère reeds are available for virtually
all Clarinets and have a beautiful tone and range, together with all the normal
advantages of a synthetic reed. There are two cuts for Bb Clarinet, Classic and
Signature. |

the original. Same superior Légère quality but a distinctly
different sound. |

Légère
German Reeds
This reed is
designed specifically for the German System and has become a huge seller in
Europe. Our German cut reed is very similar in most aspects, to our
“Classic” cut and produces a similar sound. The vamp design for the
German cut reed is why this reed will only work with the German System. The
vamp is much shorter than other Bb Clarinet reeds and the vamp length must
match the mouthpiece opening to properly play. |

European Cut Signature Series for Bb Clariniet is the next advancement in
Légère synthetic reed development. The reed is characterized by a
slightly shorter and wider vamp that is comfortable in the embouchure. There is
a band of extra material along the spine that provides rigidity without
compromising the reed's free blowing nature or high register stability.
